M.- Gorgas

Estuvimos en el monasterio de Sant Sebastiá dels Gorgs datado en el siglo XI pero que las continuas reformas, particiones y cambios de propiedad han hecho que no se aprecie casi nada esa antigüedad.
En la visita guiada si se aprecia clara y permanentemente la reescritura de la historia con la que los poderosos de allí justifican su ambición; las personas sin ánimo de polemizar, normalmente buscamos la forma de entendernos. El guía dedicó, con la ayuda de otros visitantes, un rato a explicarnos lo que podían ser gorgs en castellano, entendimos que son pozas hechas por aguas rápidas en el río.
Luego (ahora) a mí se me ha ocurrido buscar gorgo en el diccionario, no viene, pero si gorga que en Huesca significa "remolino que forman las aguas de los ríos en algunos lugares, excavando en olla las arenas del fondo".
También es el alimento de las aves de cetrería.
Y digo yo que si dedicáramos más tiempo a pensar en lo que nos une...

T.- Gorgas
