(In)timidad (Ex)timidad es una exposición en el Centro de Historias. El viaje de la mujer hacia la visibilidad.

Organizada por Ana Usieto (comisaria) y Beatriz Lucea (museografa), con unos dibujos de Marín Bagúes para garnarseme así de entrada, muchas maravillas y las piezas muy a mano. Para saber más, lo mejor es ir a verla, claro.

Me sirve para recordar uno de los primeros trabajos (de los últimos años 80) en colaboración con una historiadora; Erica hacía una tesis (o tesina, o trabajo de curso, ya no me acuerdo) sobre la historia de la ropa interior femenina, recuerdo que fotografié muchos corsés y muchos recortes de prensa de publicidades. Cuando tenga ganas y un rato buscaré las fotos, de momento pongo las de la exposición.

La última foto es de una cafetería con unas tartas de chuparse los dedos y ubicuidad de amazon.

Intimacy Extimity is an exhibition at the Centro de Histories. The journey of women towards visibility.

Organized by Ana Usieto (curator) and Beatriz Lucea (museography), with some drawings by Marín Bagúes to garnish me from the start, many wonders and the pieces very handy. To find out more, it is best to go see it, of course.

It helps me to remember one of the first works (from the late 80s) in collaboration with a historian; Erica was doing a thesis (or thesis, or course work, I no longer remember) on the history of women's underwear, I remember that I photographed many corsets and many press clippings from advertisements. When I feel like it and I will look for the photos for a while, for now I will put those of the exhibition.

The last photo is of a coffee shop with some scrumptious cakes and Amazon ubiquity.

Hoy, discretamente en un rinconcito del Centro de Historias hemos hecho la segunda y última sesión de reparto de fotos del III Desmontaje. 

Recuerdo: III Desmontaje de la exposición de retratos con Gesto y Corazón de los artistas que han colaborado con Believe in Art, que ha estado en el #lienzoabierto del mismo Centro de Historias hasta el 10 de enero (y desde el 17 de noviembre).

Estoy contento y muy agradecido a todo el personal del centro de historias, a los que están allí para tomarnos la temperatura, para decirnos cualquier cosa que preguntamos, a los que no se ven porque hacen su trabajo por dentro o antes de la exposición, a todos los que han dedicado un tiempo de sus vidas a mirar las fotos, a los modélicos modelos que han posado para los retratos, a Believe in Art (Beatriz, Luisa y Marisa), a Laura y el diseño del muro, a María por su cartel, a Yasmina por el comisariado y ese precioso texto.

S.- end of III Disassembly 

Today, discreetly in a corner of the Centro de Hisotrias we have done the second and last photo sharing session of the III Disassembly. 

Memory: III Disassembly of the exhibition of portraits with Gesture and Heart of the artists who have collaborated with Believe in Art, which has been in the #lienzoabierto of the same History Center until January 10 (and from November 17). 

It is the moment of thanks: to all the staff of the story center, to those who are there to take our temperature, to tell us anything we ask, to those who do not see each other because they do their work inside or before the exhibition , to all those who have spent time in their lives looking at the photos, to the exemplary models who have posed for the portraits, to Believe in Art (Beatriz, Luisa and Marisa), to Laura and the wall design, to María for her poster, to Yasmina for the curatorship and that precious text.

J.- Desmontaje del desmontaje

Desde la inauguración no he hablado por aquí de la exposición del III Desmontaje de los retratos con Gesto y Corazon a los artistas que colaboran con Believe in Art, no por falta de ganas sino para no dar la turra en exceso.

Hoy vuelvo a hablar porque en los últimos días cobra sentido el título de la exposición; entre esta tarde y la mañana del domingo realizamos la parte activa del Desmontaje. Los artistas retratados vienen, retiran su foto y se la llevan; así queda la exposición desmontada. 

Lo hacemos de forma progresiva, sin aglomeraciones, con mascarillas hasta las cejillas en un breve encuentro alegre y divertido.

Además del #LienzoAbierto el Centro de Historias ha hecho la producción de la exposición y regala una preciosa bolsa para llevar cada foto.

Hoy han venido: Marcos, Sara, Jose Luis, Pablo, Elisa y Esther. Hemos sentido la presencia de Rubén, Cintia y Maite. En la recepción Yasmina Bericat y yo.

El domingo entre las 12 y las 14 el final del desmontaje.

Th.- Disassembly of Disassembly Since the inauguration I have not spoken here about the exhibition of the III Disassembly of the portraits with Gesture and Heart to the artists who collaborate with Believe in Art, not for lack of desire but to avoid giving too much bored. Son contadas las ocasiones en las que aquí aparece una foto que no es mía, en este caso además ni siquiera he pedido permiso, espero que el autor o autora me disculpe, pero el interés de lo que aparece en la imagen me parece que justifica el robo.

Después de las dos lunas de octubre, pasado jallogüin (ya lo dije otra vez, pero todos los que escribimos jallogüin nos creemos muy originales) y cerrado, vendido o lo que haya sido de Duralex, es hora de mirar fuera y descubrir la nueva exposición del #lienzo abierto.

L.- Expolio

El trigo
Hay muchas razones para visitar la exposición Expolio de Judit Prat en el Centro de Historias.
Porque el nombre de la exposición esta muy bien puesto, por el claro y contundente lenguaje de Judit en su trabajo fotográfico, por su posicionamiento siempre a favor de los desfavorecidos, porque siempre dedica un espacio a la defensa de la mujer, porque es un alegato por los derechos humanos tan saltados, porque toca sin ambages la falsa conciencia de los que vivimos en este trozo del mundo el de los expoliadores, porque fotográficamente es un trabajo impecable...
Hasta el doce de agosto, dentro del programa de Photoespaña en el Centro de Historias de Zaragoza.
Es mejor verla despacio, leer los textos, ver el video sobre las mujeres secuestradas por Boko Haram...

También en el Centro de historias, hasta el mismo 12 formando parte del mismo festival, la exposición de Marcelo Brodsky sobre fotografías de mayo del 68 que explica visualmente una época y un momento de esperanza.

The wheat
There are many reasons to visit the exhibition Expolio de Judit Prat in the History Center.
Because the name of the exhibition is very well placed, because of the clear and forceful language of Judit in her photographic work, for her positioning always in favor of the disadvantaged, because she always dedicates a space to the defense of women, because it is a plea for human rights so skipped, because it touches without equivocation the false conscience of those who live in this part of the world that of the spoilers, because photographically is an impeccable work ...
Until August 12, within the program of Photoespaña in the History Center of Zaragoza.
It is better to see her slowly, read the texts, watch the video about the women kidnapped by Bolo Haram ...

Also in the Story Center, up to the same 12 part of the same festival, the exhibition of Marcelo Brodsky on photographs of May '68 that visually explains a time and a moment of hope.

Ayer en el paseo me encontré gente que sale por la entrada, gente que hace que el dinero de los letreros sea un gasto inútil, también hay gente que lee los letreros y entra y sale por donde le mandan.
Me encontré con Javier, fan nº 1 de los Beatles.
En la Lonja la exposición de Joana Biarnes, si las fotos están muy bien, el video es fundamental.
Luego mi paseo siguió hasta el Centro de Historias y allí estaba Victor Solanas preparando su nueva exposición (que se inaugura el jueves)

S.- walk
Yesterday in the walk I found people coming out the entrance, people that make the money of the signs is a waste, there are also people who read the signs and enter and exit where you are sent.
I also met Javier, No. 1 fan of the Beatles.
In the Lonja the exhibition of Joan Biarnes, if the photos are very good, the video is fundamental.
Then my walk continued to the Center of Histories and there was Victor Solanas preparing his new exhibition (which opens Thursday)

J.- 17 ó 20, photoespaña

Este año se celebra la XX edición de photoespaña, pero como yo me manejo con los años, para mí, como para ellos es photoespaña 17.
Estuve el otro día viendo una selección de exposiciones en Madrid, aun no he puesto nada por aquí pues tengo primero que ordenar las ideas, repasar el catálogo, sentarme un rato en la silla de pensar  y que se yo, ya iré poniendo. Pero es que hoy he estado en el centro de Historias donde hay dos exposiciones del famoso festival.
La primera, que se inauguró el otro día es un homenaje a los 40 años de la galería Spectrum, hoy Spectrum Sotos. Bonito y sencillo homenaje, me ha gustado especialmente el recuerdo a mi querido Mooses, saber el plantel de profesores que por allí han pasado, ya lo sabía. Han puesto una cámara oscura que ayuda muy bien a entender algo de esto de la fotografía.
La segunda del foto-performer (esto lo ha dicho él, el palabra es suyo) Cang Xin (chino él) se ha inaugurado hoy con una performance y creo que antes con una visita guiada.
Merece la pena la visita lenta y pausada a las dos exposiciones.

Th.- 17 or 20, photoespaña
This year marks the 20th edition of photoespaña, but as I manage with the years, for me, as for them it is photoespaña 17 ..
I was the other day seeing a selection of exhibitions in Madrid, I have not yet put anything here because I have to first order the ideas, review the catalog, sit in the chair for a while and think that I will, I will put. But it is that today I have been in the center of Historias where there are two exhibitions of the famous festival.
The first, which opened the other day is a tribute to the 40 years of the Spectrum gallery, today Spectrum Sotos. Nice and simple homage, I especially liked the memory of my beloved Mooses, know the staff of teachers who have been there, I knew. They have put a dark camera that helps very well to understand some of this of the photography.
The second of the photo-performer (this he has said, the word is his) Cang Xin (Chinese him) has opened today with a performance and I think before with a guided tour.
It is worth the slow and leisurely visit to the two exhibitions.
