X.- Entre Neptuno y la Puerta de Alcalá

Entre Neptuno y la puerta de Alcalá, no esta el Jardín Botánico aunque si lo estuvo en mi caminar.
Allí vi dos exposiciones, una maravillosa de Elliot Erwin con fotos de sus dos viajes a Cuba y la otra, que me dejó como así, así, con la idea de que casi todo puede llegar a valer, fotografías de  Peter Fraser con la justificación de las matemáticas, claro, que si tenemos en cuenta que las matemáticas lo que intentan es explicar las cosas, pues, claro, todo puede valer. Yo la encierro entre unas para lelas y aviso del peligro antes de coger la bici (que en Madrid también tiene su peligro). Ese mismo día, unas horas más tarde hubo unas preciosas proyecciones allí mismo, pero no estuve por problemas de agenda.

W.- Between Neptune and the Puerta de Alcalá
Between Neptune and the Puerta de Alcalá, there isn't the Botanical Garden although it was in my walk.
There I saw two exhibitions, a wonderful one by Elliot Erwin with photos of his two trips to Cuba and the filly, which left me as well, well, with the idea that almost everything can come to fruition, photographs of Peter Fraser with the justification of Mathematics, of course, that if we consider that mathematics is trying to explain things, then, of course, everything can count. I enclosed it between some for lelas and warning of danger before taking the bike (which in Madrid also has its danger).
That same day, a few hours later there were some beautiful projections on the spot, but I was not in trouble with the agenda.

D.- El Jardín Botánico

Hice pocas fotos de las exposiciones, pero sin ellas también quiero hablar de estas.
Hablo de Photoespaña, claro.
Esta vez no tengo ni una foto del Circulo de Bellas Artes, ni de la exposición de Ana Casas (de lo que dice el resumen de PHE destaco que es un trabajo que refleja una intensa búsqueda de la identidad con un interrogante al papel de la mujer en nuestra sociedad) y de mi cosecha diré que tuve que leerme todos los textos y pararme en todas las fotos, una visita lenta e inquietante.
En la sala Picasso, las fotografías de Lola Alvarez Bravo, gran fotógrafa aunque (como pasa tantas veces) a la sombra de su marido Manuel Alvarez Bravo. Si vais, no dejéis de ver los fotomontajes.
En la sala Minerva, como siempre una joyita de cuando la colonización del Ecuador.
Por último, en la sala Juana Mordó, una exposición (no de photoespaña) llamada "Cabañas para pensar" que deja un terreno para hacer lo propio.
En el ICO, enlazando con la exposición del año pasado, han puesto "Construyendo mundos. Fotografía y arquitectura en la era moderna" Las fotos están bien, han compartimentado la sala hasta tener muchas habitaciones pequeñas que juegan con las fotos expuestas (un habitáculo por artista). Creo que el "discurso expositivo" se reduce a: den unas vueltas por las salas que al final verán una foto del tal Gursky (que es un fotógrafo que mola miles y miles de euros).
Pero, yo he venido aquí a hablar de mi Jardín Botánico y es que allí además de peces de colores, han puesto dos exposiciones, una de Julio Zadik del que no tengo mucho que decir, diré que si alguien quiere regalarme un libro de esta edición de phe, el catálogo de esta exposición es lo acertado.
La otra exposición del Botánico es la de Mario Cravo Nieto; también acepto el catálogo como regalo.

S.-bontánico Garden
I made few photos of the exhibits, but they also want to talk about them.
Photoespaña speak, of course.

Finally, Juana Mordo room, an exhibition (not photoespaña) called "Cabins to think" that leaves a spot to think.
In the ICO, joining the exhibition last year, they have put "Building worlds. Photography and architecture in the modern era" The pictures are fine, have compartmentalized the room to have many small rooms that play with the photos on display (a carrier by artist). I think the "exhibition discourse" reduces to give a few laps around the halls that eventually will see a picture of such Gursky (which is a photographer mola thousands of euros.
But I came here to talk about my Botanical Garden and is there besides goldfish have two exhibitions, July 1 Zadik that I do not have much to say, I will say that if someone wants to give me a book of this edition phe, the catalog of this exhibition is successful.
