D.- La ciudad oculta

El sábado se presentó en la Fnac la exposición y el fallo del jurado del concurso fotográfico "La ciudad oculta" organizado y convocado por AFZ.
He tenido la suerte de formar parte del jurado con Pilar, Julio, Beatriz y Jesús y de pasar un rato intenso, entretenido e ilustrativo con ellos. la verdad es que cuando estoy en un jurado me doy más cuenta de lo difícil que es ganar un concurso.
Quiero aprovechar para agradecer a la Asociación Fotógrafos de Zaragoza (AFZ) la invitación y las facilidades que nos han dado.
Por último me gustaría hacer una disquisición filosófica sobre el sentido, la realidad y la definición del concepto "La ciudad oculta". Pero me voy a quedar con las ganas que no creo que nadie se merezca este castigo.

S.- The hidden city
On Saturday, the exhibition and jury decision of the photographic contest "The Hidden City" organized and convened by AFZ was presented at the fnac.
I have been fortunate to be part of the jury with Pilar, Julio, Beatriz and Jesús and to spend an intense, entertaining and illustrative time with them. The truth is that when I am in a jury I am more aware of how difficult it is to win a contest.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Association of Photographers of Zaragoza (AFZ) for the invitation and the facilities they have given us.
Finally I would like to make a philosophical disquisition about the meaning, the reality and the definition of the concept "The hidden city". But I'm going to stay with the desire that I do not think anyone deserves this punishment.

Luz, flores y eso

En estos días de luz y de flores (las primeras flores), en la AFZ convocan su segundo concurso fotográfico, con premios en metálico, nada de trasferencias, billetes o cheques, no, premios en metálico, como los de verdad.

Ayer nos reunimos el jurado del II concurso de fotografía de Red Madre, muchas fotos y muchas muy buenas, discutimos, hablamos, acordamos, votamos y al final fallamos (me encanta la polisemia).

J.- No finalista

He sido seleccionado como NO finalista en la modalidad de retrato del concurso Absolut Porfolios.
Aquí pongo tres de las fotos presentadas, en este enlace están las demás. Y si quieres ver las que han sido seleccionadas como finalistas (como SI finalistas) están en este otro enlace.
Por supuesto, admito comentarios que digan que ha sido una decisión injusta, que mis fotos si que son buenas, que los jurados no entienden, bueno todo eso, pero no os paséis, que ya he presentado en la categoría de nuevo documental (enlace) y voy a presentar también en la de autor, no me los vayáis a enfadar (porque es seguro que miran este blog).

Th. - No finalist
I have NOT been selected as a finalist in the contest portrait mode Absolut Portfolios.
Here I put three of the pictures presented in this link are the others. And if you want to see those who have been selected as finalists (as YES finalists) are in this other link.
Of course, I admit reviews that say it has been an unjust decision, that my photos if they are good, that jurors do not understand, well everything, but do not overdo, which I presented in the category of new documentary (link) and I will also be in the signature, I upset the you go to (because it is sure to look this blog).

D.- Fallo

La Rae distingue perfectamente entre fallo1 (sentencia de un juez o tribunal) y fallo2 (cuya cuarta definición dice: falta, deficiencia o error) y como esta última es la definición mas extendida, cada vez que usamos la primera a mi me choca algo.
Y digo esto porque ayer sábado fallamos1 el I concurso de fotografía Red Madre.
Hablamos mucho, debatimos y llegamos a una muy buena selección de doce finalistas (fue muy difícil llegar a estas doce) entre las que elegimos las 2+1 ganadoras.
El resultado se podrá ver en el Centro Joaquín Roncal a partir del jueves que se inaugura la exposición con la entrega de los premios.
Y se podrá ver toda la exposición donde ademas de las premiadas y las finalistas, habrá una amplia selección de las fotografías presentadas.

S. - "fallo"

The dictionary of the Rae perfectly distinguishes between fallo1 (judgment of a judge or court) and fallo2 (whose fourth definition: lack, deficiency or error) as the latter is the more extended definition, every time we use the first at something strikes me.

I say this because on Saturday we "fallamos1" the photo competition Red Mother.

We talked, discussed and came to a very good selection of twelve finalists (it was very difficult to reach twelve) among which we choose the 2 +1 winners.

The result can be seen in the center Joaquín Roncal from Thursday that opens the exhibition with awards.

J.- I Concurso fotográfico del Museo de Zaragoza

Como primer plato de las fiestas del Pilar

 Ya hoy día 5 de Octubre empieza el plazo del primer concurso de fotografía del Museo de Zaragoza; aquí están las bases completas, mas o menos la cosa es ir al Museo desde hoy y hasta el día 8 (el día 8 es lunes y los museos cierran los lunes, pero también vale la fachada y exteriores),

 una vez en el museo hay que hacer fotos chulas o muy chulas con cualquier aparato que haga fotos,

luego unos desde casa y otros desde cualquier sitio se cuelgan las fotos del muro de facebook del Museo y se pone uno a mandar avisos y mails a todos sus amigos de facebook para que le den al me gusta y ganar así el premio del público (que lo hay). Hay otro premio de un jurado que se reúne y falla el día 15.

D.- Nuevo talento

Este año he participado en el concurso del nuevo talento fnac de fotografía, y lo he hecho por tres razones (mas o menos) una que no piden ser jovencito para ser nuevo talento, dos porque tengo unas fotos que me gustan y tres porque me gustan siempre las fotos que ganan (si me gustan las fotos que ganan y me gustan las mías, ...).
No, no he ganado, lo ha hecho un señor con unas fotos estupendas y un trabajo que me gusta mucho y recomiendo ver, se llama Manolo Espaliu y aquí esta el enlace a su web donde están las fotos ganadoras "42º" y otras fotos suyas.
Y ahora pongo unas fotos mías, que no son las que he presentado al concurso, sino que son otras; estas:

Esta es la historia de un niño que pasa por delante de la cámara al atardecer, mientras su madre o tutora se pone las gafas de sol y el padre o tutor no (creo que me falta sentido poético).

Por otro lado, mi amigo Pachus ha ganado el premio peonza dorada de espiraledublogs (premios importantísimos) para profesores y profesoras que usan y aplican las tecnologías de la información, yo me he llevado una grandísima alegría. aquí esta su blog "estoy en ello"

S.-New talent. 
This year I participated in the competition of new talent fnac photography, and I have done for three reasons (or so) first of all, you don´t have be young to be new talent, secondly, because I have some pictures that I like, and in the third place, because I always like the winner photos (if I like the winner pictures and I like mine ...). No, I haven´t won, the winner has been a man whose pictures are great  and whose job I really like and recommend seeing. D.- toda una semanita

Nos fuimos a Madrid, la carretera como siempre llena de obras

 

 a casa de mis padres y cumpleaños de padre

 llovió un poquito y no estuve en la I Gran Quedada Foto Zaragoza (que no se puede estar en todo)

luego volví aquí y fui a la conferencia de Joan Fontcuberta (sin fronteras Zaragoza), aprovecho para poner el último artículo de Sombras-Foto en la que hablo de él (le llevé y dí un ejemplar, claro). Lo pongo en grande para que se pueda leer, si se puede.

Y he perdido un concursito de fotografía en el que presenté esta foto en la que hablo de miedo a la mentira y de mentira sin miedo.

S.- for a week.
